I'm happy Bolton made the kick.

I'm simply saying that Bolton is still not playing particularly well or doing very much.

We were destroyed in clearances during the 2nd and 4th quarters, and Bolton is one of the players who should be addressing that. Kicking the winning goal should not disguise the rest of his game.

I pass comment on most players, good or bad, however some people seem to think you can only pass comment if they are favourable ones.
I think i am the only one who argees with what you have to say.

Nope, I agree as well. Jude has been far from his best this season and is a reason why we are getting killed at times in stoppages (though I must admit, its not from a lack of trying). Still his form from my point of view is picking up over the last few weeks and even though today wasn't one of his best games, the outcome and his effect on the game might be the kick start he needs to really left this team.

Still lets not bag the star players, thats why we have rookies and Rowan Warfe

Well, I have commented favourably on a number of players.

I haven't said Bolton had a crap game - just didn't do a great deal and I think he should do more as one of our leading midfielders.

i agree particularly with this point - he is trying very very had but most of his efforts arent paying off...

this may be a turning point of sorts - but he needs to pick up his clearances, whether it starts with keeping his feet in a contest, i dont know, but his work doesnt stop when he dives on a ball in a pack, he needs to get it out and effectively

OK, NMWB and others, Jude isn't having his best season so far. But his work rate is high, and if he persists he will be an important contributor. It's not for lack of trying, he just has to work himself back into top form. Did you hear the commentary in the Kangas game? "He might look like Jane, but he plays like Tarzan!" Right on!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Bolton's work rate has always been high, although until last year it wasn't particularly effective.

As Penga notes, he needs to do more than simply throw himself into packs.

Can't remember where I read/heard it, but someone pointed out the Jude is suffering from being the centre of attention, now that cressa is gone and he is the main ball winner, rather than the second.
They also pointed out that once he gets used to being tagged he will start playing much better.
