How true, 5 weeks ago when we were 3 and 1 Sheahan wrote an article in the Saturday Herald Sun claiming we were the best of the contenders to beat Brisbane in a GF becuase of our height.

Problem with these blokes are they flop from one week to the next and know to well that most people forget their comments from a couple of weeks ago when they change their mind.

Eh? How is that going to work? Are the Swans going to run through their legs and score when they aren't looking down. I would not have thought we were one of the tall teams in the eight at present.

GS (Hi D) no, Saddo didn't kiss the ball. He just dipped his head and gave it a bit of a victory shake, as if to say "Yes!"

Thanks Margie, Of course my VCR recorded all the losses perfectly but decided to sit Sunday afternoon out - so I haven't seen the game on TV yet.

Murphy's Law re your VCR, G.S! Is there a replay on Fox Footy - they usually replay each game early in the week? I thought it was fitting Saddo ended up holding the ball as he had such a good game on Sunday.

I really don't understand why you follow the Swans or regard yourself as part of the team's supporter base?

Go Swannies, why do you insist that all Swans supporters be as dim witted and blindly optomistic in their appraisal of the team as you ??

Just because a supporter does not agree with your Point of veiw, does not mean that you have the right to slander them and accuse them of not being a legitimate Swans supporter.

You seem to be a person who can not accept any diagreement within the clan you feel you belong to. How very FASCIST of you.

Grow up bullyboy, and while your at it try to encourage a few of the other imature backward thinkers on this site to do the same !

Big positive out of this game is with 15 minutes to go it was looking like a 5 goal loss. That the Swans stopped Hawthorn run-on and were able to get back in front and win should be a big boost to the team's morale and showed a lot of grit.

                Very true.

I couldn't care less how we play if we win. I love watching a good footy game, but when it comes to the Swans just give me the points. "It was a great game, but we lost" doesn't work for me. I get my entertainment elsewhere! The swans are serious business!!

I kid you not he talked about out abundance of tall players (Goodes, Doyle, Ball, LRT, Schuable, O'loughlin etc) compared to the other challengers (St Kilda, Melbourne, Port and SnDon) and said we had the best match up height wise to cause Brisbane problems in a final.

If anyone has a copy of the article handy, post it on her.
