Davis in for Swans

SYDNEY forward Nick Davis will return against the Western Bulldogs at the SCG on Saturday night after making a quicker than expected recovery from persistent hip muscle soreness.
"Davo is fine to play which is good," Sydney coach Paul Roos said yesterday.
"The decision not to play him last Sunday against Hawthorn has paid off, so we will play him against the Bulldogs."
Davis had been struggling to get through training over the past month.
The only option left for Roos was to rest him until he had fully recovered which could have taken up to a month.
However, news the flamboyant 24-year-old star is back this week is a bonus for the Swans, as he is extremely reliable in front of goal, converting 10 of his 12 scoring shots from limited opportunities this season.
Roos revealed yesterday that he also postponed his usual Monday post-mortem by putting on a lunch for the players after a team recovery swim at Clovelly Beach.
After feeling the heat following four consecutive defeats, Roos was keen for the players to enjoy the much-needed win.
