    Channel 10 - Hall

Ten news said AFL have interviewed Grant and spoken to Barry Hall on the phone. Now we wait. Why - if Grant has dobbed Barry in oh boy I will scream - what else can you do - write to dogs club and say he is a wanker.
If all is clear why do the Swans wait till tomorrow to find out - part of AFL strategy helping Melbournian clubs.
    Love those Swans

If he did, obviously the days Kelly protected Libba's disgraceful acts are forgotten.

    Dirty Dirty Dogs.

        Janpa,

Don't immediately come to the conclusion that Grant has dobbed him in. Grant might have been as vague as possible describing the contact as non intentional.

I would suggest that Rick Lewis would have probably decided to thow the case up to the tribunal even if the evidence was as limp as that, as it takes the heat off him and the AFL from the media and lets the tribunal deal with it on it's merit's, no matter how paper thin it may be.

That is what I'm thinking. With the previous off the ball incidents(barnes/??) , there was a lot of attention around the investigators.

So, it is probably,, :Uh hmmm, here is the evidence from BH, here is the evidence from CG. You guys can make the decision, I'm just the investigator."

I hated that Kelly protected Libba for the time that he did.

Had he 'told' I would have been very happy, as what that little @@@@@ did was disgusting.

So I suppose I would have to say that if Hall decked Grant behind play that Grant is entitled to 'tell' too.

Hope he is found innocent though

Surely the AFL must take into account his much improved track record, and would want to encourage him to continue down that happy road... lol

Cant agree CTS, Kellly did the right footy thing.

Another reason he is/was such a champion.

The game will degenerate into a handbags at 10 paces slanging match if players decide to 'report' each other. One of my sadest moments in football was watching Matty Knights paraded before the media, showing scratches on his face, and accusing a fellow player.

"look at what that nasty man did to me mum"

I hope our club never stoops that low. There is no place in footy for the alledged antics of Libba, but it is up to the AFL/tribunal to deal with it, not the individual players. It is tacky, reeks of sour grapes and does not have a place in footy.

Agree Mark... v good points made.

As far as tempers and arguements go, they should stay on the football field.

It's the supporters right to hold grudges... Libba, Holland, Plugger... opps!

Everybody has a different place where that line is drawn.

I am all for a bit of biff, but feel I would be hailed a hypocrite if I was in favor of Kelly dobbing while ragging on Grant for doing the same (if he did)

So for me, scratching is along the line of a kick in the nuts.
                  It's a low act.

But as I said, everyone here would be shouting at a Swans player to seek his revenge if an opposition player were to cause a career ending injury.

                  Or even not so severe.
Say a player is kicked in the knee purposefully in round 2 and he missed the rest of the season?

I would want him to have a go about that for sure.

All the same thing, but to different degrees and everyone will be different in when they should dob.

For me it is the unsportsmanlike behaviour like scratching and eye gougeing...

Or Stafford's regular "clumsy" knee in the spine.

Oh come on, people get off of high profile individuals being catty at each other. If it wasn't for the bitching who wouldn't watch The Block or Big Brother. Or even Jerry Springer or Judge Judy for that matter.
