Presuming we need to replace Saddo, Hall & Davis

Fosdike would certainly come back in, and probably James (who may get a stint up forward), but who else would you add. For me it would either be one of Powell, McGlone or Dempster. I wouldn't be surprised to see a debutant this week. Fixter probably isn't ready.

    B: Crouch, Barry, Kennelly
    F: Milne, Gehrig, Koschitzke

    HB: Bevan, Bolton, Goodes
    HF: Guerra, Hamill, Riewoldt

    C: Maxfield, Williams, Mathews
    C: Harvey, Ball, Dal Santo

    HF: O?Keefe, O?Loughlin, Fosdike
    HB: Schwarze, Maguire, Jones

    F: Buchanan, Doyle, Nicks
    B: Baker, Penny, Hudghton

    FOLL: Ball, Kirk, Bolton
    FOLL: Knobel, Hayes, Powell

    I/C: Ablett, McVeigh, James, Powell
    I/C: Goddard, Thompson, Blake, Clarke

Bart I'd say you are on the money although I will be praying for Davis to replace Ablett and switch Powell for Dempster a tallish wingman defender maybe just handy.(I never worry about debuts)

I pretty much agree with you Bart however much as we need Fosdike to contribute to the team I don't think he does much forward.. maybe put James on the flank instead of Fossy.

I also worry about our rebound with Kennelly and Barry on the last line.

I'd consider putting James at FF for Ball. He scored a few in the 2s last weekend and will provide a reasonably tall target up forward.

Ditto for Powell who could sub for Saddo. Either way, if the experiment doesn't work they can be used down back and Leo (a former forward) and B2 used as other options.

But Ball would be better in the ruck too. I expect they'll alternate while the other goes forward.

I think is a great spot for Powell, he's being playing a forward role for the past couple of ressies games. Tall, athletic, can mark, and is a fair shot on goal.

Agreed, Powelly deserves his shot in the forward 50.
