Other reports suggest, that R Smith did not see the incident but put 2 and 2 together with Bazza and that is why he remonstrated with him.
Now only the umpire can get him now.

Smith didn't see it, Grant says just a continuation of the game-long tussle. Bazza said he didn't do it. Pretty convincing so far for no penalty. Hard to see how they could find him guilty.
Or at least set for an appeal (would Baz have to turn up tomorrow night too?)Comment

628 - SEN says it's still going on. Grant is only now giving his evidence. The quote earlier was from his initial statement.
They say they'll let us know asap and I'll post it.Comment

Surely his oral evidence couldn't be substantially different to his statement??Originally posted by Go Swannies

SEN says still continuing.
1.15 hours to read out for Lewis investigation.
Longmire was the only witness.
Grant said what he'd first said. Intense questioning but stuck to his guns.
Collis said "physical clash between two big men".
Baz demonstrated what he said happened - demonstrated on Grant in the tribunal.
They guess that there's not enough for a suspension. But no ruling yet.
Baz owes Grant a sslab they reckon.Comment

Yes - said he couldn't explain it on the phone. Was going to demonstrate by himself and decided it'd be best on Grant. But the contact was soft this time. . .Originally posted by lizz
And Bazza gave a demonstration!
I wish they televised the tribunal - I'd love to see that.
Big news is that the only official witness is John Longmire - that is good news.
Getting off looks likely in a rational world. But hang on, it's the tribunal. . .Comment
