Talk about a guy changing his tack 180 degrees in the space of 24 hours! Werren't you all doom and gloom just a day or two ago.

I get jitters every time it rains these days. With the rain today, I instantly get concerned. Because if there is any moisture on Sunday we'll be up the proverbial creek without the proverbial paddle.

so now all we need to worry about is covering their forward line (Riewolte, Hamill, Milne, Gehrig, Kositschke, Guerra)

and their runners (Harvey, Hayes, Dal Santo, Jones, Ball (if only his Dad had played 5 more games for the Swans), Powell etc. etc.

And yes I have gone full circle. I couldn't see how we could get our forwards to work without Baz there for this game. Maybe with Micky at his best it'd work but that still looks to be a few weeks away. But most of all, I watched our 2003 game against them yesterday. We pressured, they made mistakes. I think we may have the best chance of any team of beating them. The Lions largely play their own game and they are strong enough that they beat them - just the goal umpire didn't agree. We have perhaps the best team for shutting down the opposition - at least when the midefield isn't battling its own demons. One on one and let's see if they keep their composure - they didn't last year and will be aware of that when they run onto the field on Sunday. This time around we have nothing to lose. Get thrashed and we join a growing list. Hold them and narrowly lose and we're a better team than the Melbourne mafia think. Win and we'll be giant killers - but the Hun will still be writing that the Aints lost because it was time for them to throw a game. I bet that's Roos instruction - restrict them and have fun. I hope he remembers to mention that they have to kick between the big posts this week, too.

it's got nothing to do with resiliency. If you get badly kicked you get badly kicked. No relation to hammies/groins/shoulders/knees etc.
