Of course, our serial anti-Vic based supporters poster MUST come in and attempt to break up this sudden cooperation, mustn't you?

Yeah, I don't hear SA or WA supporters complaining however I have also never heard anybody make a promise to them RE our games played in these states. And yeah, by the way, I would love to see the Swans play all of their games in Melbourne...as a matter of a fact, I believe that most old South supporters voted this way some twenty years ago. However, we realise this will never happen again and ask, quite politely I might add, that we get our PROMISED games in Melbourne. Thats all we ask. Simple.Originally posted by Sanecow
I don't think that Adelaide and Western Australian supporters are complaining about being able to see their team more than one game a year. If Melbourne supporters had their way, Sydney would play all of its games in Melbourne
Go you mighty BLOODBOYS!Comment

I'm a WA based Sydney Swans supporter! True I was based in Melbourne up until 26th of March. However, I chose to move here to WA and forgo my beloved swans, just as those who are based here in WA all their lives and are Swans supporters have chosen to support an interstate club. Melbourne based supporters did not choose to have theirs and now Sydney's club to move to Sydney. Therein lies the difference.
I highlighted Sydney to show that I accept that the Sydney Swans are now pretty much a seperate entity (in marketing terms and location only) to the SMFC. That's fine by me. But it is STILL OUR CLUB TOO!!! Some of you guys just have to realise that, because we deserve AS MUCH say as anyone else. Not more, not less, the same amount. If u don't believe me, I will knock your bloody teeth out and not pay you a cent.Comment

May I say, this is the best thread I have read regarding sharing the team around. It's been very civilised and none of the usual in house fighting.
I just want what's best for the players to perform at their peak. A good point was made about not travelling very much, only to play important finals footy without having experienced playing at the same ground in the H&A comp.
Bart, I'll happily support your submision as long as the team is foremost the winner. I believe this is something you have considered along with ensuring the supporter base is well covered too.
I'm proud that we can say we have a hard core group of supporters nation wide. I'm sure OUR team would also feel proud to know there is so much support out there for them.
Finally the SMFC and SFC supporters are working together. Good work guys. Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release

Yeah I have to admit that I apologise Sanecow for my original post. I've had a few beers, and I get a bit emotional on this subject
But I must say that my emotions stem from my abilities to be understanding of the plights of all supporters of the swans.
Deleting the thread now. SorryIf u don't believe me, I will knock your bloody teeth out and not pay you a cent.Comment

Well that can be either the Bulldogs match in Sydney, or a 7th in Melbourne as reward for having 5 matches down here 2 years in a row.Originally posted by Charlie
