    Jeff Wells

Wow, having read what he published on the back page of a major newspaper, I would have to ask...

What a whingy, pedantic, little bitch is he?

I mean, an unofficial website on the internet rags on some of his comments, and he gets offended and put out enough to seek revenge in a newspaper.

    Pussy.

If he doesn't agree, he should register and defend himself.

Maybe he would earn some respect then....

    Don't count on it!

Everyone knows the Murdoch Journos are the most pi**weak of all.

They run to their own conservative agenda and desperately fear printing anything that doesn't follow their master's views.

Maybe we should send the pussy a nice bowl of milk. I'm sure it would help wash away some of the @@@@ that seems to poot forth.

      Brilliant thread CTS!

I have always thought of him as whingy, pedantic, little bitch - today just confirmed it.

        Don't they just!

Anyone who has Foxtel, just needs to watch America's "Fox News Channel" to see how bad it can get when Murdoch has control of media organisations!

I realize that a lot have it just because of Fox Footy but

People having Foxtel to be able to comment on that isn't exactly hurting Mr Murdoch's control of media.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

What an unbelievable wanker this Wells must be??

I know he's reputed to be a sociopath who prefers cats to people, but this silly dummy-spit beggars belief. The average Tele reader wouldn't have the faintest idea what he's going on about.

And how hypocritical is he? This is the bloke who regularly launches cynical character assassinations (remember his vitriol about Capriati? Or Phillipoussis?), but he can't cop some mixed opinions from genuine sports fans??

            Seriously unwell person, I reckon.

              You got it!

They are all just following the script.

I'm sure a democratic Iraq would be just the place to expand a certain media empire...

He only owns 25% of Foxtel thanks to Telstra and PBL, so I can live with having Foxtel!.

He does however own outright, Fox News Channel in the United States, which is the most biased conservative news service I have ever seen in my life...

it is pretty sickening though... I have sat with dropped jaw watching bits of The O'Reilly Factor. Scary, scary stuff.

Just a slight correction - Wells' column wasn't actually on the back page. The back page was about the "Stop Saints" campaign which was pretty cool. I reckon there'll be a big crowd tomorrow.

As for people on this board only seeing the good side of the Swans - to me it's so far the other way that his column was amusing. All I ever feel I'm reading is how bad the Swans are!

The Simpsons is OK IMO because it gladly bites the hand that feeds it!

Maybe we should be flattered that he reads the board and can be bothered to mention it. Just as he should be flattered that we can be bothered to have threads here about him. Most of us would probably prefer to be disagreed with than completely ignored...

Good on him. I thought it was a great read, as usual.

NOBODY commented on his amusing column last Monday re: Barry Hall never getting a free. I suspect this was because you all agreed with him. But when he has the audacity to criticise one of our little darlings certain sections of this board are up in arms. How dare he!! What would he know!!

Well as he pointed out, he actually does know. Dare say he knows a fair bit more than the majority of the inmates here.

The point of his article, hopelessly missed by most, was that he has been commenting on the Swans for years, mainly positively, but negatively if he sees fit, even in the days when the Swans got ZERO media coverage. He points out that it was HE who managed to get SOMETHING in the paper about the Swans in the dim, dark days before I guess a fair few here were not believers.
