Definitely worth two weeks. Illdisciplined stuff. However it was no given thing seeing as Lynch and Kerr got off this year.

This week all the suspect ones have got two weeks. I agree with the Minson one.....so why didn't Richo get two weeks for taking out Benny last year and why isn't Gehrig up for taking out B2?...Exactly the same, taking out a player with a shoulder to the head.

Tarrant came in for a mark, was not going to make it and decided to lay his forearm into the back of Carroll's head instead. It's pretty straightforward. Malthouse would be pissed, I reckon.

I'm not going to argue with you because I want him suspended as well . I just thought that the Collingwood defense would have been made that much stronger by the fact that he had eyes for the ball the entire time that it would be unlikely that he would miss two weeks.

On a side note, was Barry Hall the last Swan that was suspended (2002)? I can't seem to recall any since then (or even anyone other than him that has been reported).

How about Powell early last year?

One match for striking Richmond's Greg Tivendale in a March practice match - hardly newsworthy, but technically the latest Swans suspension from memory.

the difference between the richo one and the minson was that the ball was in the vicinity

i was hoping that the melee and assorted charges would take longer than they did and they wouldnt have time to review tarrant's case before friday night

anybody aware of when the cut off time is to hear an appeal

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

You better mean two rounds. Otherwise he misses the Dees game, sits out the bye with a few close friends the following weekend then turns up at Telstra vs the Swannies in three weeks.
