It could be thinner.. like Hawthorn's perhaps.

Anyhow, many of our guys will be available for the Pies game. If there is ever any time where Roos pulls something out of his magical hat, you would think he'd choose to do it this Sunday.

      Hi Penga,

The change in pre season training from long distance work to more sprint bsed work was the pre season from last year and it seemed to work pretty well for injuries last year, so it is probably not the factor.

Maybe the hardness of the surface on our training ground during summer (Roo's commented on this during the pre season and ended up moving alot of our training sessions away) has more to do with it.

No much in it. I think the Hawks had 28 to pick from. We have 31 - and no suspensions. Maybe Roos wasn't joking about Kel and Barry Round . . .

Doyle is definitely out seem to be confirmed on 2ue tonight with Jared Crouch not saying he was in.
          Dempster come in maybe
Eriksen is he not able to come in to the team?
He has played really well in reserves - rucking and goaling.
          Love those Swans

On the bright side we can look at a team like Freo, who has been at full strength for most of the season, and take solace that they are two spots below us on the ladder.

Yes, I am clutching at straws.

If we do get across the line with this line up - and then beat the Pies in a fortnight when we get a few more players back - then we could finish very strongly as more of the regulars come into the team towards the end.

Let's water the training ground next summer?

How many quarters have Micky and Nicky played together this year?

It seems to me, that they just swap places every other week.

                Edit: Looked it up - Rounds 1 (1 quarter?), 8 & 10.

You might be onto something mate. Perhaps training on dry dirt isnt as good as the Swans' Staff think.

You'd hope that our share (a freakin big share) of injuries have been accounted for in the first half of the season.

Wow! What exactly happened between Thurs night and now? Did someone drive a Semi through the middle of a training session? I'm almost thinking its time to sack the club Doctor. Is he getting paid out of Eddie's pocket?

                      Hi Guys

Yep.It seems that every time we have a great win and our season is getting back on track then injuries play a part and we go to Port with a young squad again

I think that we can beat Port but it will take a monumental effort

                      Regards Dazza

Could be worse - think if Baz had got two weeks suspension!
