No, not interrrrrrrested (surely 'interested'?) in being a @@@@@. Actually genuinely good humoured. Glad to have beaten you though game lost interest after half-time. However you are a great team to watch and I wish you well, though I wish us better.

And posts here more than he does on thePowerfromPort.com, which I'm on. So what does that say?
Port smashed us. Bloody annoying though reading the rubbish Adelaide papers. Rucci is a joke!!! They are the only journos in Australia who persist on saying we are a boring defensive team.
On Sunday we were just crap. But with plodders like Mieklejohn in the team, what could you have expected?
We will see the real Swans against the Pies. I'm sure of that!!!

Like a lot of the posts here. Mine was meant as a bit of light hearted banter. I bet poulters name brings back a lot of disappointment for swans fans, just as pluggers point would for bombers fans.!!

I bet it did, however the tone of the article would have been slightly different if you hadn't have smakced us. I cracked up when I saw it. I only hoped we'd be able to back it up with the win.
JF: I'd say it was worth the 8 hours for that one.
too bad the result didn't reward your effort
Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release

I think I'm noticing a trend here everybody.
The people were in Adelaide had a fun time and are more than happy to congratulate Port on their highy convincing win. And had NO problem with the Port supporters at all throughout the match. And were greeted as friends both before and after the game by those in teal and black.
The people who watched on TV are watching to smash things. And are starting to moan and groan about us not winning flags, being crap etc etc, Port supporters booing after goals etc etc. Basically carrying on like complete sooks.
Some of the posts over the last couple of days have been not only embarrassing but the height of hypocracy. Here we are whinging about booing about goals (which I swear I never heard from my position in the outer.). Yet several people are carrying on like complete sooks and are even refusing to register that Port not only won but played well in the process.
Have a good look at yourselves, some of you!

If you think booing the opposition when they do something good is okay, then you need to have a good look at yourself as does anyone else who thinks this is the right thing to do!

It wasn't a Sydney-based banner.
Melbourne made it in 2 hours last Wednesday. Not only did it look heaps cool (great lettering guys, what font do you use?), but it was a cool ****stirr.
Sadly it proved to be little more than idle trash talk. That backfired in our faces awfully.
I'm confident that we'll see an effort completely unrecognisable from the one we saw on Sunday against the Pies.

Why should I? People keep defending it.
Is it alright to boo the opposition from the field after they've beaten you?

And the people that didn't even get to see the game are just plain grumpy
edit: hmmm. now having read the whole of this thread, I think it is high time it be locked.
