A SF of rubgy better than an AFL grand final. Get me a bucket...
Until a GF is played out in front of only the fans of both competing teams, never. Both PFs that the Swans were in in 96 and 03 were far better occasions than the 3 GFs I've been two.
I can't understand the vitriol being spouted by some of you about another code and one fan's opinion that it is a great game.
i like them all really..... like i love the swans and afl the most... but the roosters in the nrl are awesome and i like rugby...
To me they are just two different sports and theres no reason you cant like multiple sports... its like liking both tennis and footy to me its footy and rugby and cricket and tennis all great

We like Rugby, we hate bull@@@@. See the difference.

The three answer have one word in common: small.
Barry, yes, all answers would be small at Concorde Oval I think in 1989. But how does that support anyone's logical argument that therefore Rugby is not doing well? How many employees did Microsoft have in 1975? Not many, but it doesnt mean Microsoft is not successful today.
If you owned a company that had grown to the extent that Rugby has in the last 15 years in Australia, you would be a very happy man.

Bart made a comment that insinuated that rugby had been a high spectator sport for a long time in Sydney's landscape.
This is not true. In fact RU's rise as a spectator sport in Sydney is not dissimilar to the the AFL's rise. That was merely my point.
