    Uncontracted players

Since it as been well stated Sydney will chase a young key position player or midfielder that is out of contract who is actually coming out of contract.

What Sydney players come out of contract at the end of the year who haven't been resigned as yet

contracted or out of contract seems to mean little these days. If 2 clubs can come up ith a deal that honours an existing contract and that player is willing to go, then you have a deal. I mean Carlton wouldn't mind somone picking up Kouta's pay cheque

I don't know who is on or off contract though

it seems like a bizarre concept - but id like to know if stafford is out of contract at the end of the year...

anyone know who he was annoyed at in the swans' staff? are they still at the club?

we need someone to carry our ruck for a couple of years, he'd have it in him...

I was glad he was traded and do not want him back.

I'd rather not get Staff back and I don't see Richmond trading him to us.Though I can't see any other ruckmen I would like at the club. Certainly not a Street or Loats.

What would Ottens cost us? I would like a ruckman/forward to combine with Doyle.

I fear he would cost us too much, But ... he might be worth it.

Why would you want the most overrated player of the last 5 years. I want a player who tries.

I would be looking at bringing one of west coast's ruckmen to us. They seem to be chocka block with them atm and are probably looking to trade one of Cox or Paul Johnson (former 1st or 2nd rd pick in 02). I wouldn't mind Cox in particular as he is still relatively young and is proven to be able to hold the ruck while Gardiner has been out injured.

Why on earth would they want to trade Cox?????

I think you pulled that one right out of your lemonade.

I would like to see the club try and swing a trade with the Eagle's for one of their midfielders. Sure Judd and Cousins are out of the question, but a Chad Fletcher could be more than handy for us.

You can rule out their ruckman, because they aren't going to trade for any of them.

                          What about a brisbane ruckman?

They have many, though no one would want to leave there so I doubt it would happen, but they have quality, with big-game experience.

We have one good old and two developing ruckman, firstly we need a big strong defender and a top midfielder surely!

I think our targets will be a class midfielder in a trade to improve our midfield short term, one or two young key position defenders in either the draft or though a trade to add to our depth in these positions (I think Goodes and Schauble will make a great CHB/FB duo, but after them we really have no clear cut replacement) and a ruckman, either though a trade or recycling one though the drafts.
