If that had been the case, one year at the club would have been fine by me.
Up with Lockett he was by the far the best player we have had the prevlidge to see play in the flesh in my lifetime so far. Won games off his own boot.

Not many I bet.
i was O/S when he was looking like coming to sydney, and i really didn't want to see it happen. what got me the most was him saying that he had always had a good relationship with the sydney crowd.

He was showing signs of wear and tear in his last year at the Roos. I remember when we thrashed them by 90 odd points in 2001 and he was a shadow of his former self.
I'm sad he didn't go out on a big stage like he deserved.
