that's why I changed it to suprised, I sat back and thought about it and remembered "wait, Lokan is pretty quick anyway!"

    I actually kinda like Lokan.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

like so many other footballers, he just needs to keep his feet when his opponent goes to ground. he tends to dive on top of them, automatic free
        C'mon Chels!

i think i am more excited about Paul's future then i am Mcveighs. All the talk last year and at this start of this year was about Jarryd Mcveigh and his debut but i think Paul has gone about his job incredibly well and will be a star of the future if the swans hold onto him.

I was just coming on to post about how great Bevan was.

It feels like he has been in the team for years.

            Terrific game on Sat night!

bevan seems like hes an established player .... he has a spot in our best right now

mcveigh seems like a young developing player playing while we have injuries, playing with an eye to the future but someone who could miss out if we had no injuries

bevan has gone past mcveigh really.... but bevan is an exceptional talent.

Bevan and McVeigh are different beasts, at the start of the year I thought McVeigh ahead of Bevan after the first few games, then Bevan ahead of McVeigh... now I have reached the point of not comparing the two. Bevan has been able to come in and be a tough nut back pocket, McVeigh doesn't really seem to be that kind of player and I think he has still been good with his limited opportunities.

And I disagree about not minding a few free kicks from indiscretions... you are always going to get them anyway, but surely we can't be happy to accept giving away silly frees if he is going to be spending so much time in the defensive 50?

In regard to McVeigh, you cannot get possessions when you are not on the ground - a la Stuey Maxfield when Floodney Eade was coach !! I was constantly in shock when a player of Maxfield's talent and obvious qualities ( ie. 80 metre footballer - runs 30, kicks 50 ) was always dragged by the super coach himself !! McVeigh has talent to burn, but I hope he doesn't suffer the same fate as Maxfield under Eade.....

Once McVeigh puts on 10kg's and is given more ground time by Roos, he will become, along with Bolton and Schneider, our first choice midfielder.

With Paul Bevan, he reminds of the very courageous but injury prone Wade Chapman in both looks and more importantly, the fearless attack on the footy. Unfortunately, as happened to Paul Kelly constantly, in sometimes attacking the footy too hard you give away unintentional free kicks for head high tackles and in the back. I don't mind Bevan giving away these type of free kicks although, let's just hope he, or anyone else for that matter, doesn't suffer the same fate injury wise as what Chapman did throughout his short, but courageous, career at the Swans.
Well somebody told me, You had a boyfriend, Who looks like a girlfriend,That I had in February of last year, It's not confidential, I've got potential

yeh mcveigh needs more ground time to develop but bevan is still ahead... its nothing against mcveigh who will become a good midfielder

i have known bevan for a long time and have seen him play alot over the years. Swans fans we have alot to be excited about once his confidence is up his foot skills, decision making, TACKLING technque and general reading of the game is 1st class, i would say he i still puttin himself under alot of pressure and once he fells more capable we will see this.
