    Carlton game - who's going?

I'm thinking of going to the Carlton game, even though I am moving house in 11 days, so who else is going?

Early forecast for Saturday in Melbourne: Windy. Late showers. Min 9 Max 16

I'll be heading out to the game, hope the late showers hold off until after the game. Trust when it rains at Optus, the GA areas aren't too welcoming.

For those not with the CS, if you want to meet up with those in the CS on RWO, we'll be in the back two rows of the CS.

I'll be there as usual. Think I will go into that little pocket of standing room on the wing. Sick of those non elevated seats that give an ordinary view at ground level.

I'll be there, around 12.30pm in the CS.

Robbie, need me to wave one of those big flags again ?

If need be, no problem, look forward to it.

We'll see how we go. If we are short of people to wave them, yes. But if we have enough people you can decide for yourself.

          See you on Saturday

              Maybe.

Depends how willing my mum is to look after my kids for most of Sturday.

If I am going, I'll get there early, andwill be heading out afterwards

Count me and the lads in.

Two weeks in a row, what a thrill.

Wish I was coming down - probably be the last time we ever play there?

Looks like the AFL will pay out the Optus contract or something allowing the Blues to sign with Telstra Dome.

Just happens that some of our friends are Carlton fans, we get on the bird and fly down Friday and back Sunday. (Any excuse to shop at Vic markets for my wife - and do fall over late after the game in some pub ???)

Tickets are waiting for us somewhere in the legends stand. (so I'm told - Been at least 20 years since I was at Princess Park Before it became O Oval) Looking forward to it sooo much.

Will put in a big cheer for all the Sydney based fans

I'll be there - in the Cheer Squad

And the 'unofficial' aftermatch will be in Lygon Street, most probably at Papa Ginos

The 'official' people will be at the Hilton on the Park for the Swans Ball

Good to see there will be plenty there for the game. It will be the first free Saturday I have had for months so I'm looking forward to it.

I have never seen a game at Optus Oval, mainly because I don't know my way around the ground and have never had the opportunity to go there with someone who does know. So I'm not sure how the ticketing works for that ground, what entrances to use, and the like. Does anyone have advice for me? Meeting up with RWO/CS people before the game could be good too.

The cheer squad sit at the opposite end to Royal Pde, so if you are walking from Royal Pde you have to go around the outside of the ground as you can't get there through the ground.

From memory I think the cheer squad sit in bay 12ish.

I have 2 sydney tourists to pick up at the airport at about 1045, so we will head in straight from there probably.

Peter, myself, Boofhead and Beaussie (Bryce) leave at 330am and should be in Melbourne by 1ish. If we aren't, we have hit a roo on the Hume. Or the hotcakes at Yass Maccas at 645 have turned to cement or something.

Will be a tired boy, but am always up for some pizza. $60 twin room at the Vic Hotel for a good night's sleep (NOT), go me!

Should we think about making a reservation at Papaginos this time around.

Ando, keep a 'big' flag for me. The diamond one please. I'll be bringing our new signs down for people to use. (How you going on your new ones ?)

Will be good to see you again Cheer Cheer. Hope to meet a few more of the local RWOers.

Why don't we all meet at the CS area at 5pm then all go off together for pizza?
