I'll be there - getting there nice and early too - anyone know if there's a curtain raiser? There was a women's game on last year.
Count me in for pizza as usual

Got as far as finding a seats on ticketek then realised how much it was going to cost me for the family and decided I couldn't afford that with all the bills lately!!

Oh well, I guess I'll have to get some batteries for the radio.

I'll keep 5 seats for you guys up the back row of the CS, is Mr D Rum still coming????

Ando, keep a 'big' flag for me. The diamond one please. I'll be bringing our new signs down for people to use. (How you going on your new ones ?)
I'll keep that one free for you, so don't worry about that. As for my banners, they won't be ready for Optus, but thanks to Bam_Bam, they hopefully should be ready by Geelong.

Why don't we all meet at the CS area at 5pm then all go off together for pizza?
OK then, thats the plan. Everyone meet at the CS areas if you want to meet up for Pizza. Ert, I trust your van will be available for use???
        Once was, now elsewhere

I'm coming, but I can't decide whether I'll get a decent seat (on the wing) by coming early with my membership, or whether I should just bite the bullet and pay extra for a reserved seat. Any suggestions? Whereabouts is that standing area, Nico...I went to the Roos practice match and sat below the coaches boxes, which was (obviously) perfect.

If the GA seats are all ground level I'll have to pay anyway, 'cos I can't stand watching from down there.

Despite this being the worst of any ground in the AFL to watch footy from I am going.

Would not watch a nude wrestling match between Paris & Nikki Hilton at this ground it is so bad. Is only because the Swannies are there that I will go.

GA is all ground level, and the seats in the Legends stand that you pay a fortune for are crap.

              Seating at Sloptus

Every year I swear I will not pay the extra, but every year I cannot get a seat and have to pay extra to get a decent view. In light of weather forecast, undercover will probably be the go anyway.!

How do we go about buying undercover tickets? DO we buy in advance, at the ground or both? Given the forecast, I would rather be undercover and given the likely demand for undercover seating I would like to know before the day.

When you go in on your Swans m'ship they have a Ticketek inside where you buy a reserved seat in the (non) Legends Stand above. $15 for adults I think extra.

I'm trying to talk Hubby into a vic trip this year, so we can go to the markets to replace his dryzabone that was stollen and maybe get in a game too.

He's not buying it at the moment though. Lat time I was there was 2002 (my god has it been that long )

I'm afraid I don't have a Swans membership because I couldn't be sure of getting to many games this year. Until recently, my Saturdays were spent househunting for a new home and the like. But I have now bought my new home, I move in next weekend, and this weekend I am free to go to the footy.

Can't wait for my first ever adventure to Optus Oval. Not looking forward to the long trip in the car though.

Hemsleys, there is public seating around the boundary on the outer wing/HFF. Cost of getting in through the gate only. If you have a Melbourne Members ticket it costs you nicks.

Need to get there about 12.30 to ensure a seat.

That standing room is right in front of the Swans coaches box.

Just to the right are the free seats, in front of the Legends Stand.
