    Firstly because we average 89 pts per game and Melbourne averages 102, and secondly, because it is more favourable for us - a lower score produces a bigger increase in percentage.

    Anyway, finishing 5th may be better than finishing 4th.

    We finish 5th, we might play Essendon or Freo at home, then possibly play Melbourne or St Kilda the week after.

    Finish 4th we might play Brisbane at the Gabba.

    The week off is useful, but not essential.
