I really enjoyed Noggy's game against the Blues, partly because I could see his confidence growing and he was no second guessing is next disposal as much. Couple of lovely long kicks, deft handpasses, tap ons and a goal. I think this is just the starting line of Noggy's good form. I personally thought he got under Pagan's radar.
Schneides was still operating at 2003 speed, but did a couple of Schneides type things that were great. Once he is back to AFL speed, he will go back to being a very dangerous player. However right now, opposition coaches won't be giving him a second thought. Why would they, he's young and under-done??
The Fix's pack roving and disposal were superb at times. I have no doubt that the Fix has superb skills and brilliant football brain. We all saw his 2002 and I saw more of that on the weekend. Do you reckon the likes of Neil Craig will be wondering what to do about Ben Fixter? Hardly!
My long-winded point is this? All 3 of these boys are capable of doing very very good things and Roosy knows how to exploit their talents. When the chips are down and our big name players have been marked out of the game, our reliance on this trio will increase. Opposition coaches will not have seen these guys coming.
