Noggy, Schneides and Fix - Keys to success!

I really enjoyed Noggy's game against the Blues, partly because I could see his confidence growing and he was no second guessing is next disposal as much. Couple of lovely long kicks, deft handpasses, tap ons and a goal. I think this is just the starting line of Noggy's good form. I personally thought he got under Pagan's radar.

Schneides was still operating at 2003 speed, but did a couple of Schneides type things that were great. Once he is back to AFL speed, he will go back to being a very dangerous player. However right now, opposition coaches won't be giving him a second thought. Why would they, he's young and under-done??

The Fix's pack roving and disposal were superb at times. I have no doubt that the Fix has superb skills and brilliant football brain. We all saw his 2002 and I saw more of that on the weekend. Do you reckon the likes of Neil Craig will be wondering what to do about Ben Fixter? Hardly!

My long-winded point is this? All 3 of these boys are capable of doing very very good things and Roosy knows how to exploit their talents. When the chips are down and our big name players have been marked out of the game, our reliance on this trio will increase. Opposition coaches will not have seen these guys coming.

Just like I don't think Denis Pagan saw Bevo coming!

with the possability of a fully fit Davis and maybe a Scooter in there we could well be on the road to finding our fab five midfeild.
Then all we need is to bulk up the back line and bobs your uncle 4 flags in 6 years please.....

        Agree TheHood.

Noggy's game over the last two weeks has improved out of sight from early games this season. Confidence is the key.

Schneider-coloured-glasses are off and I'm not saying anything on him as I have an extreme fear of being abused.

Fixter: great to see him back!

I think we should include Hobbit #2 (Amon) in this, his games were great in the wake of Schneider's hammy, pity about the injury but hope to see him back out there V soon.

Talk about not paying attention to players. Maxfield had a big influence on our comeback with a truly great last Q. No one bothered to pick him up as he ran into space for passes and gave and took handpasses.

          A top Captain's effort.

After the match the reporter asked Bazza what he thought of Noggy's game (great, of course) and then asked what his nickname was....Bazz was happy to let the Melbourne public know why he is NOG.

Sorry, I thought the post was about our youngsters ability and development rather than our terrific and slightly older Captain.

Well Fixter would be somebody the Fab Five would be proud of. Like how zhuszzzhed (sp.) is his hairstyle at the moment?

Saddo and Jude look to be doing well on the 'zhussszzzhing lessons' front as well.
