Very laboured rendition of the song... reckon they weren't that rapt with their performance either.

Oh - and umpires, on account of their general allegiance to the opposition, are ineligible for the Luffy...

If it's wet at Kardinia Park next week - and when isn't it? - we're gonna get reamed - Scarlett or not.

Fixter, Goodes, Schauble, and Schneider are at best half fit.

Would honestly have had to have been the most boring game of football I have ever watched.

Yeah... the run home is nightmarish, but we'll just have to wait and see what effect the last seven weeks will have on their psyche in the tougher matches to come.

I know that, given the choice, I'd rather us win close matches than lose them, which is what we've done all too regularly over the past 5 years.

BTW - it's taken Roos just 49 games to get a win against every other club. Wonder how that stacks up compared to his contemporaries...

It was an ugly game of football, very ugly. We won though, and that's all that matters. As Roosie said after the game, they don't take points off for ugly wins.

PS: This is the last time I will be on RWO for several days, because I move house tomorrow.

I have never been so unmotivated to cheer at a final siren after a win as I was tonight.

Was such a weird game! but a win is a win and 4 points is all we need.

We'll probably play pretty well against the Cats because they are a good side.

Brisbane at home - we can match 'em.

Then again as Roosy pointed out - Adelaide are in good form so I guess a win is a win is a win.

                Hated to watch it though...

Well, a win is good, but there is more to the ladder than just wins. The percentage is important and very well could come back to bite us at finals time. It could mean the difference between a home final or not.

We are 7th now but if we had won by about 6 goals we would be 6th.

Very very ugly. Little effort put in that last quarter, it seemed as if the players thought the win was in the bag and were going through the motions.

I gave a small clap at the end for the victory, but didn't sing the song nor go to the aftermatch. A very unmotivating game that we at least won.

You would have thought that they would have really tried to bury the Crows in the last quarter, especially considering Essendon's win today. It is really frustrating that we still aren't burying teams in the last quarter when we have the game sewn up - the missed opportunities to add percentage could come back to haunt us at the end of August.

Doesn't matter if the conditions are perfect next week - if we play like we did tonight, we will be beaten by 6-8 goals.

Unbelievable. The amount of people on this list moaning after a win. Pull your heads in - if pretty football is all you're interested in then good luck to you - I'm just delighted with 4 points, a real run at the top four and 6 wins from the last 7.

Some of you didn't want to sing the song? Great - write to the club and tell them not to play it unless we win convincingly.

Honestly...positive criticism and discussion all welcome - but to pan the team after a win? You should be ashamed....

I'm not complaining that we won - I just found it a very flat game and hard to get enthusiastic about it, but that's just me. Hell, I'd much prefer we won than not, but I also don't want us to just end up making up the numbers in September and am looking forward to that time, with the next 3 weeks in mind and stating that we need to lift.

Having said that, we have been playing guys who have been out for a while and giving them match fitness and still winning, and that is a definite bonus.

Pretty ordinary decisions by the goal umpires tonight - paid a behind to Adelaide when it was OOTF, and when Willo kicked a behind they called it OOTF. Could have been costly.

                                Huh?

I think we all think it is great we won. But when your side only kicks 1 goal in a half of football, there is a slight let down involved.

I am worried about next week based on this game, there have been far too many instances of weak wins this year to suggest we are a real threat. For now I will enjoy the win, and be praying for a return to 2003 form.
