On the point of ducking headfirst, there was one passage of play where Gardiner got the ball in the F50, ducked his head and ran, and from my point of view, was searching for a free kick.
The commentators did say this (trying to get the umpire off the hook) but they were wrong. there was a shot from the boundary clearly showing the free being awarded straight away.

Not only were there decisionas not paid for Bazza, but Monty had his back jumped on early on. That would have been much, much less soft than the ones they DID pay to Geelong.

The panel on 'On the Couch' last night seemed to go to great pains to suggest we got a bum wrap without actually saying as much.

Have to agree with BBB on this one. Wallsy has apparently stopped bagging umpires, Mike hinting that we were pretty unlucky, and Gerard giving the impression that it's just another week that we are caned by the maggots, what's the difference? hahaha
Wouldn't mind if we were on the receiving end of some hometown umpiring occasionally but it seems whenever we have a big game up here we get Goldstink and he hates us!
