Who to offload - I wouldn't mind if we lost Fosdike, Ablett, Doyle or Saddington.

Prefer to keep Mathews, Crouch and J Bolton.

However, for the right deal I don't really care who we get rid of.
I will say sorry now for all past spelling and future spelling errors i cannot type to save myself.!!!!

I agree with you except i would not trade barry hall!

Fossie and no one esle at this stage. Considering he was a rnd 3 pick (correct me on this) he has done **** all and is at times an avg footballer with explosive pace.

At the risk of introducing correct spelling and punctuation to this thread, I do have some players in mind for potential trade bait.

Fixter ? Injury prone and redundant with defensive midfielders like Kirk, Mathews, Crouch and co. Overrated from what I have seen.

O?Loughlin ? A forward line with O?Keefe, Hall, Goodes, Davis and Schneider/Buchanan is more than strong enough. O?Keefe has taken O?Loughlin?s role across half forward, and he?s just left playing a shallow role out of a pocket, which is a waste. May as well trade him while we can still get something.

Maxfield ? Offering at best short bursts, which is not good enough for a key midfielder, let alone a captain. Pretty much back to 2000 form, which is not a good thing.

That would be a #3 pick. Frankly, I think he's always looked a lot better than McVeigh, and he was a very early pick as well IIRC. We've wasted a lot of top picks in the last decade. The best players, like Rocca, Gaspar and Grant, wound up leaving quickly, while we were stuck with the mediocre ones.

Maxfield wouldnt be trade bait and oloughlin probably wouldnt be either... if they dont play for us they will just be retired!

But Lockett and Hall were pretty easy to spell.

We should get rid of Schneider, O'Loughlin, McGlone, Ericksen, Roberts-Thomson & Schmidt. All too hard.

Forget about Riewoldt, Wanganeen, Pavlich think Voss, Bolton, Farmer, Smith & Smith - names that we can all spell with some degree of confidence and no reference to the Record.

No way would i be offering Mickey as a trade.

Fossie at this stage. I really dont want fossie at the swans. And yes knowing the club they will end up signing him for another 3 years and we might end up losing Amon or even Schnides.

Always letting go the wrong players we are.

And what about Warfe? What he is getting paid we could paid someone decent...or has he retired? hehe i havent heard from him lately.

I would happily trade Fosdike for a 2nd or even 3rd round pick.

I would trade O'loughlan for a player of similar stature. He's only 26 or 27, but seems his best football seems behind him. Maybe St Kilda would be interested in a Micky-O for L.Hayes trade. or Micky-O for Bradshaw. He would be a good top-up player for sides aiming for an immediate flag.

I would consider trading Saddington but I'd doubt we'd get much for him, and he was looking good after being releived of the backline KP post.

Ablett, Matthews would just be thrown in as sweatners for any deal.

                              Maxfield aint going nowhere.

Wouldnt hurt to pretend to offer Davis around too. Might be the kick up the pants he needs.
