Does anyone else think Brett Kirk looks like the lead singer from jet?

You know who Kirk reminds me off?

Many years i was in Melbounre and a mate of mine (film buff..loves his australian films) told me he had a film about South Melbourne, made in the 70's.

Watching the vision of a young John Jarratt running in old south colours it kinda reminds me of Brett Kirk today.

I dunno maybe its just me, but he does have that 70's look down packed well.

My fav player too.

I do. Everytime I play my Jet CD I think of Kirky.

I think it's just the hair as Kirky is heaps better looking.

Last week, I was watching Rove when, "like a bolt of lightning" it occured to me that the man I was watching sing on tv, the gorgeous Pete Murray, was a dead set Brett Kirk lookalike too!

Yeah Kirky defenatly looks like the ket lead singer, i can just imagine him belting out "Cold Hard Bitch" after a hard fought win, can't you?

I see NO similarity between Brett and Pete.... some in the lead singer of Jet though.

At the risk of showing my age, I have NFI who Jet are, but I've always reckoned Kirky had a John Lennon sort of Beatleish look about him.

PS. For all you whipper-snappers, The Beatles were a moderately succesful band a few years ago. Try searching Google if you would like to know more.

He he - while we're on the topic - what do you recommend I get this weekend, Rubber Soul or Revolver? Talking about the Beatles doesn't show your age - they are timeless. Me and my friends at school have many an argument over what songs are better... and we are all 16-18.

I've only heard a couple of Jet songs - not bad... in fact the word that came to mind was Beatlesque.
