Rubber Soul is a better album...but the artwork on Revolver is fantastic. When I was your age I used to try and copy the drawings.
Revolver, though was revolutionary at the time. It is a brilliant encapsulation of a particular time and place....Eleanor Rigby and Got to get you into My life, for a start!

Many years i was in Melbounre and a mate of mine (film buff..loves his australian films) told me he had a film about South Melbourne, made in the 70's.

Watching the vision of a young John Jarratt running in old south colours it kinda reminds me of Brett Kirk today.
I dunno maybe its just me, but he does have that 70's look down packed well.
