I quite agree that these four would cause a few problems, but what about the 18 other Swans? We are severly lacking in the "problem causer" department v the lions. Still, I am feeling quietly confident this won't be a slaughter, we will probably lose through inaccurate kicking just to keep Lethal happy.

our great forward line won't help us if the midfield don't deliver. the lions beat adelaide by 141 points, when was the last time we scored 141??

still, i think it will be close for the first half, brisbane will fire in the third, and we'll launch a fightback in the last quarter to make it interesting.

If Davis played 80 minutes in the reserves then his ankle can't be too bad. I want him to play and reckon Roosy might name him.

I agree that our forwards will be useless if our midfield doesn't fire but we've been waiting for the Lions midfield to tear us up for two years and the last 4 times we've played them our guys have been able to hold their own (apart from one quarter in the prelim).

I don't know if anyone can confirm this but someone @ the Swans Fan Day rang up 2UE and said that Adam Schneider has done his hammy again.

Hope not, but the team as a whole might be advantaged this week I think he had two kicks last week and when he was on the field he looked lost and very fusstrated, bring him back through the reserves not for fittness just his confidence.

he re-injured it at training on Tuesday. Willo is unlikely to play. Powell, James, Dempster and Fosdike are in line for selection and to replace the injured.

                      I say

                      In: James and Dempster
                      Out: Schneider and Ablett

and if Willo doesn't play I would then and only then bring in Fosdike.

With all our injury problems and half-fit players, unfortunately Ablett is going to continue his run of luck that has lasted all season. He wont be dropped because he is one of the healthiest guys in the team at the moment. Everytime this season when he rightfully should have been given the axe, several other players have sustained injuries, which have saved him.

Maybe he's the one causing the injuries!

Maybe he has a hot line to his Uncle, who wields his big injury stick whenever he feels he is going to be dropped!!

At least he doesn't have his uncle whinging ion the back page on th HS.

We should rest Goodes. No point of playing him. With James in, there is not necessary to play Goodes at CHB. The Brisbane is missing Brown too. A great chance to rest Goodesy.

I hope we pick Dempster this week. He must be close to selection if he's named as an emergency each week!

Start with Goodes at FF, James at CHF. If either don't work, swap.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
