If this happened, the Grand Final would be notable for being between two teams that have both lost their last five Grand Finals. This would make it a 50/50 contest. We can beat Geelong but we must have fit players to do so.

It would be ironic if we come 7th or 8th, set to play Freo in Perth but the AFL use that as the 'banked' match and we meet Freo in Melbourne..........

If they are going to take an interstate final away and move it to the MCG, it is far better for everyone involved that it be a game between two non-Victorian teams, which then becomes a neutral ground. Otherwise a Melbourne based side suddenly gains the advantage of the home ground when they have not rightfully earned it.

That would make a lot of Melbourne-based Swans supporters very happy

                    My Prediction

                    Based on current form:

Swans to finish 7th or 8th and bow out in the first week.

Negative, I know, but I just can't see us figuring to far into the finals the way we're playing at the moment.

if that happens ill be very happy!!! but i cant see it happening...

i can see us giving the finals a shake for sure..but to go undefeated by brisbane no way!

i think we have more chance of beating brisbane this week than melbourne in round 20
Theres not much left to say
