Surely it is not that hard for the Melbourne Office to organise some type of aftermatch function?????

What they have done this year in regards to Swans fans getting together in Melbourne has been pathetic.

Before you complain about aftermatch functions in Melbourne, go to one in the Noble Stand at the SCG!

Last week there was not one senior player who attended. At the last (and most) aftermatch functions in Melbourne we get almost every player who played on the day there.
So I'd prefer two a year quality aftermatch's than one like last week.
I did enjoy catching up with friends after the game last week tho!!

What they have done this year in regards to Swans fans getting together in Melbourne has been pathetic. They have Bells Hotel - which also happens to be the pub where Adelaide and Port Adelade (burp) supporters watch their games. Billy Bell couldnt give a stuff about the Swans and only wants our $.

The supporters group that meets at Rye Hotal welcomes people down there. However a few friends went down to watch a match and told me it was terrible as everyone there wouldnt shutup and didnt really seem that interested in the footy.

I dont think it would be that difficult to organise some type of function centre for all of us to go to after games (well we'd only have to book it five bloody times this year). Im sure that if it was organised well enough we would have a lot of supporters going along and the function centre would make a lot of $ over the bar and the Swans would make a lot of $ through membership or merchandise sales.

Most aftermatch functions have been cancelled.
Mate, you do have a point.

I'd email Tony Morwood directly so that he knows your thoughts.

His email address is [email protected].

Tony is a top bloke, and does take supporter concerns seriously.

        Thanks.

I dont want to seem like a whinging pr*ck but I dont get the chance to go up to Sydney much and I dont have many friends who go for the Swans so it's good to get in a room full of Swannies fans.

It would be great if we had an official club in Melbourne somewhere where we could always go and catch up with swans fans.

          Here here.

Agree on the Billy Bell point, he threw a mental my last visit there because we stuck up for a young lad who had the temerity to complain his $5 plate of chips was stone cold (which they were) Billy was thoroughly rude to him and literally blew a gasket ( and I mean frothing) when we all we asked was that he remain respectful to the young chap.

Billy was far too busy counting the cash to worry about bloody customers! It is overpriced and over crowded and should be avoided.

On Rye, I had a good time there and did not have the experience as per Tilt?s mates.

Let?s give the Lexus centre a chance..

Incidentally, the Elgin in Hawthorn is a pleasant little place where they show the Swans games on fox, not big screens unfortunately, but for a small ?Swans East? gathering is quite acceptable.

Its definetly a day for members and supporters not sure of the start time last year it was around 10or11 from memory.great morning the players are great with the kids and they seem more than happy to sign autographs and take photos for an hr or so after the actual clinic.

I am going to the clinic.

It starts at 8:30 - that's the time you have to 'check-in'. The latest is 10 or that may be when it finishes. I am not entirely sure but It definitely starts at 8:30. Me gotta get up at 7:30!!

Well atleast you get a great day out of it. I hope Ryano is going. My friend is forcing me to have an actual conversation with him ha!

Clearly why there is no after match this Saturday as someone already said..
