The Swans will find it really hard to go forward as they are all distraught.
They all attended Clare's funeral as they think so highly of Wally.
Now they have lost him. Roos didn't even do a press conference.

I am disappointed at all the knockers - it makes it worse.
Instead email the club maybe and send some messages of sympathy to the club and his family.

Jan..you have hit the nail on the head, unfortunatly some can't see beyond the fact we lost a game like that when leading. At times like this we should be rallying around the club and not trying to dig the boot in at every opportunity.

Speaking of Ruckmen

Did anyone else notice the return of Adam Goodes to the centre bounce on Saturday night.

I guess it's a case of "never say never-again" for him and Roosy.

Seeing Adam runing in an arc before the bounce to try to avoid a head on clash, must have been the funniest sight to confront a North ruckman in decades.

Its fair enough, but I think it was a sign of the game slipping out of Paul Roos' control. Also having Doyle and Ball on at the same time and where those two seemingly got too much possession in the last quarter (only to make mistake after mistake).

Jude Bolton is only one player ( 5.55 per cent ) of 18 Swans players who stood around like statute's and cardboard cut outs when the game was in the balance and players had to stand up in the last quarter.

Paul Kelly would have turned over in his grave on Saturday night - and the guy isn't even dead yet, at the lucklustre and spiritless performance in the last half.

If I was Paul Roos, I would not even bother turning up to training or media appearances until the last training session and at this point I would show the boys a video of P.Kelly in action and walk out of the room - with the next time he talks to the players at the meeting before the game.

Hopefully this video and non appearance by Roos would demonstrate to the team what is required of a footballer at the ultimate level and the sacrifices required to win at all costs, regardless of the situation.

The players also should donate all there match fees for the game against North to Wally Jackson's estate - as that is the least they could do for the man !

How would you react if one that you cared for died when you were sitting next to them and you had to go on the field and try and compete

That must have been very difficult for Jason Ball and I think that he tried but he was not focusse on the game for those few minutes and he made a mistake

Think of the team and stop insulting them all the time

I was pissed off that they lost until I heard what happened to the head trainer and then I realised that would have been the reason why they let such a lead go in the last quarter

Get behind the team as they need the support of all the fans from now until the end of the season and hopefully into the finals

The Swans will be a good team.Mark my words.They have a had a terrible year with injuries and also now they lose their head trainer who is like a father to most of these boys.

I agree Dazz. I would be disgusted if they hadn't been affected by what happened. They are humans after all, not robots.

On the whole I would say your sentiment is shared here. But even if Swans won that match I would of still came on here with things to say about that bad performance and I am sure others would of as well. Especially the "play" of Jude Bolton.

They could of not only wrapped up a finals spot but even got that 100 point win to leapfrog Freo and virtually wrap up a home final as well.

I don't think any of us are calling the Swans and demanding heads to roll and everyone is eithier upset or at the very least very sympathetic.

But.....I am finding it amazing that the game can not be analysed by anyone on this site that saw their club give up a 40 point lead and 4 premiersip points to a side that is a major rival for a finals place.
