    Positives

I know everyone here is feeling horrible, as am I. But there are positives, just have to find them.

Buchanen - Had a blinder, seemed like he had 80% of the scoring assists.

Doyle - Made some bad errors, but had a good game, trying hard.

Davis - at least he's back in the team.

Goodes - Didn't play well, but is looking alot less hampered by his leg than a couple of weeks ago.

You are surely kidding aren't you. A loss like has no positives.
Tell me you're brain has snapped.

Maybe it'll put the club into such a spiral of despair, that it is forced to disband - thereby liberating us all, from our torment

Snapped?Nah, but surely Buchanens effort warrants some thought. And we wern't bad in the first half.

I thought we were very ordinary all game.

We built a 40 pt lead through crap play by the 'Roos and a few individual efforts.

Buchanan was good for 3 qtrs, as were Hall, Kirk and O'Loughlin.

Everyone was crap in the last qtr.

You play football to win football matches, winning is the only positive you can get out of a football match. Who care how good someone played if you lost???

We ****ed up pure and simple and no positives from the first three quarters can make up for that.

Its not as if we blitzed them in the first 3 quarters. We kicked straighter and they didn't, other than that, it was quite even.

So there are positives inside a win, but no positives in a loss, is that what you are saying?

Buchanan would have been a positive had he done something in the last quarter.

Doyle would have been a positive had he not lost us the game by giving away the simplest of free kicks in their forward 50.

Hall would have been a positive had he made his presence felt in the last quarter.

Nick Davis would have been a positive had he not kicked the ball OOBOTF instead of kicking a goal (harsh, yes, but I don't care.)

Schauble's goal would have been a positive, had he not let his man kick goals when it mattered most.

Ball would never have been a positive, and I hope he retires. It will leave us without a ruckman (see Doyle above) but it may win us some games. It was a free kick (no umpires to blame) and probably the worst disguised deliberate I have ever seen.

Jude Bolton doesn't deserve to have the people defending him that he's had on here. He is never there when it matters. Trade him for someone who will win us the ball, and keep their feet when in open space.

                      There are no positives.

Yes. You play to win, not to lose.

Losing 4 points in a close race for the finals to a team near us in the 8 is no positive

Then if Thewlis had got 40 possesions tonight that would not have been a positive???

What if we won all but 1 game of a year, but the game we lost we were playing all the kids???

It's not the end of the world, we should have played better, we should have won but we didn't at least we can get better.

Hear bloody hear. Throw yourself hard in at the footy seems to make him sort of God. When and only when he starts doing something with the ball will he be worthwhile in the team. What if he didn't have good looks, most likely wouldn't be as highly rated.

For goodnes sake we have gone 19 rounds and we are still the same as seasons start. Making the same mistakes and paying for it. You might as well say that was the Grand Final, but, there were positives.

As you build at the start of the season you look for positives. not when you throw a game away at the business end of the season.

Just shows to me we are not up to it when the chips are down. And that...is a big NEGATIVE.

How many close games have we dropped because we didn't have the resolve to finish it off?
