This comment after a disastrous loss like that sums up Swans mediocrity!

At the moment we are a mediocre team, but we have the foundations of a premiership winning side.

As I said above, I don't see us having much of a chance at this years flag, however that is half the problem, there is still a chance that we do go undefeated from now on, such is the unpredictability of our team.

        Ditto.

Give a bit of slack please you people who are slagging off at the team and the supporters who clapped them off. Momentum is a marvellous thing in football. When one team has got it they can be impossible to stop. **** happens. How about venting your spleen at some of those horrendous umpiring decisions in the last quarter particularly the weak ruck infringement that ended in a goal. I was seething. Sydney has copped a hiding from the umps in the last few weeks - Fremantle, Brisbane etc and I normally don't complain about umpires or think they influence games.

Sorry Nolie, I did not see the game live, and only watched the replay tonight after knowing the result, and so I think I am in a pretty decent position to give an unemotional opinion. I thought the umpiring was about as even and consistent as I have seen for a long time.

In the final quarter, Doyle's ruck infringement in the Roos' F50 was harsh but technically correct, a centre square miscount is a miscount no other way about it, and Jason Ball's deliberate OOB was just the most dimwitted play I've seen and rightfully deserved to be penalised.

They shouldn't have been clapped off after a 9 goals to 2 last 1/2

They should hav ewalked off to dead silence.
Maybe it would have been food for thought....
