    Agree 100%. We wont see him in red and white. There just seemed to be some suggestion that he was a Sydneysider (or that there might be some heart strings attached anyway, ala N Davis)

      Not keen on Staker as I have seen him for WCE and East Freo and he looks very ordinary may prove to be a good backup for Westcoasters but has a long way to go.

        With Staker, the Swans wanted to draft him and hoped he would still be available at pick 50. He wasn't. We selected McVeigh at 5 and Dempster at 34 under the F/S rule, so we didn't mis-judge him we just didn't have the pick to get him.

        With Playfair he was rated but the club wern't fussed either way. We got LRT and Powell at 28 and 29 with our two picks before Playfair was taken at 41.

        I don't think the Swans did the wrong thing with these two players.
