Pretty sure that Goodes gathered 30+ possession (33 IIRC) at waverley on Everitt in 1999.
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

No - the above comments are a fact. He actually gained 20 possessions on that day in '99.

ahhh.. I remember that one. My second (and last) visit to Waverley Pk. IMHO the first game where Goodes showed his stuff. Well worth the trip out there.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

He played a game against hawthorn in 2001 at the mcg playing on a wing when we won and he had about 25 odd kicks , so I think he may have nudged 30 that day

A total of 25 possessions that day, incl 21 kicks.

Seeing as you guys don't believe me and prefer to trust your faulty memories, have a look at this...

Maybe its all part of the "anti Swans" conspiracy in the Vic based media, but I'm sure I didn't see his name on the injured list on this morning's Sunday Footy show. Is that a good sign?

Doyle was on most injured lists I've seen.. maybe they just missed it.

                  O.K. Did they provide a "guess-timate"?

nope, they just mention a knee injury. article up on the swans' official site now says that he's the only one likely to be in doubt for next week's game. Sounds like it's more precautionary than anything.
