Just because he is liked and works hard doesn't mean he has leadership skills, but in saying that, I think Anne was being a bit harsh.

I don't think we would have lost on Saturday if Paul Kelly had been playing. We needed someone to stand up, galvanise the players and stop the run on. It didn't happen. Maxfield is not the player he used to be.

ok, let me rephrase it, just ask his team mates what they think of his leadership qualities.

And Stuart may not be the player he once was, but that doesn't mean Kelly would have done any better. I've seen us lose many close matches with Kelly playing . I've even seen him miss a shot on goal that would have won us the match (and no I'm not having a go at Kel).
