"Trial by media" One week he is assessed as the most feared .... the next he is reported. With the media stating that he will need to answer for his actions during the game - what chance does he have if the commentators have him hung drawn and quartered prior to the review of the game being completed.....

I suppose that we should consult the media to see if he is guilty, fined or acquited?

Just give him a fair go - that is all we want! If Lloyd did the same would he have received a free kick? Most probally

        Yes after every game.

Barry Hall has toned down compared to last year. That doesn't change the fact he still loses his cool.

All the guys at On the Coach said they didn't think he should get suspended.

I can't believe the Swans are wasting time, effort and money to send him down to Melbourne. I hope they compile a 5 hour video of similar incidents that were not even reported and force the tribunal to sit through it. They have wasted Sydney's time, let the Swans waste some of theirs.

              Loses his cool???

I think it's more a case of him having a bit of self respect.

What should he do, allow anyone whether it be an umpire or an opposing player do continue to do whatever they please to him and just cop it on the chin?

There were 6 photos online yesterday, each one of them were of Barry. MOL kicked 5 goals, and had a blinder ... yet didn't get a photo. Go figure.

People love to think he's a loose cannon who often loses his cool, and i hate that attitude with a passion more than anything because it doesn't show him the respect he deserves for becoming the footballer he is.

He's tried to leave the BBBBH tag behind him. If only others could do the same.

The only thing mentioned about the Swans On The Couch last night was the fact Barry had been reported.
That is a joke consideirng they talk about St Kilda for at least 10 minutes every week. So much for being a national competition.

he'll get a fine, but theres the possibility of a week suspension based of past record, something that continues to haunt Dustin Fletcher, he only needs to appear and no matter how trivial the incident is he'll be outed due to his record.

                    Hear, hear Ruda !
Most would be suprised to know that he is an absolute gentleman off the field and really is trying hard to get rid of the Big, bad, bustling tag. He's becoming one of the greats of today's game and he deserves the credit for it. Long gone are his days at St Kilda

My dad called from Perth this morning and he heard that Barry might not get suspended. Lets hope he's right.

Did anyone note Bazza's reaction after he took that mark late in the game against the Dees, right in front of goal, and then had it taken off him? One might expect him to have gone "mental" given that he was already pretty frustrated at his evening and he may not have been aware of the push out (by O'Keefe, not Hall) that led to the free kick to the Dees.

His restraint was a classic illustration of just how hard he is trying to constrain himself - he didn't even show a modicum of annoyance on his face and calmly handed the ball back to the umpire.

Hall didnt go mental, but I certainly did!! I thought the maggots had picked out another free against Baz when he clearly didnt do anything illegal.
