    Sydney v Essendon tips

    I tip swans by 40 points.

    i dont rate essendon that much away from home. I think we can replicate last weeks intensity, plus will have gained enourmous confidence.

    the players know life is short and will give their all from here til seasons end.

    Barry Hall will also be awesome... as he could of missed the game... i tip he will get at least 4-5 goals

              The Swans will get out to an early lead in the first quarter,
              Essendon will hit back in the second quarter but the Swans will go into half time with a lead under 10 points,
              The Swans will break the game open in the third quarter and end the quarter between 4 and 5 goals up,
              The Swans will apply the sleeper hold in the last

              Bazza will kick 4, Lloyd 4 (2 from frees)

                          Not overly surprised - most of the media seem a bit down on Essendon, except for a few of the Essendon supporters (like Anderson and probably Connolly).

                              Swans will win comfortably as long as a couple of things don't happen.

                              -the umpires (discussed on another thread) don't start handing out frees to Matthew Lloyd with gay abandon (why is he protected so much???)
                              -the Swans don't get stagefright and actually keep running. They'll do the Bombers for pace if they play their game properly - and it's hard to put the sleeper hold on at Stadium Australia than the SCG
                              -Scott Lucas doesn't have his one good game for the season against us, like he seems to have a habit of doing (I assume he's playing)
                              -half the Swans team doesn't come down with Delhi belly
