He'd be more than a handy pickup, but he would be valued too highly at Collingwood. Anyway, key forward positions are probably the least of our recruiting priorities.

Not again every year Tarrant is going to get traded, I guess this time its our turn. As for source he would have to be the biggest tosser in football when will he notice people are laughing at him not with him.

            second rd pick

who says he has to play forward? he could easily become an excellent CHB in the mould of cornes!

Absolutely we should grab him and bugger the cost. Maybe Schneider could play midfield. And Davis. Players of Tarrant's calabre don't come your way too often. What a awesome fwd line that would give us.

And what a legennd Barry Hall is. I hope he plays in the red and white until the day he retires!

Tarrant = tough in the pub, soft on the field.

He was very, very soft at the ball on Friday. Looked almost frightened. Can't play anywhere but FF. ****s himself at a genuine contest.

No versatility = waste of a draft pick.

Only blokes like Plugger can claim FF as their own.

Even if he's only half as hungry as some, he still does something effective when he gets the ball, as opposed to getting it 20+ times looking busy, but effectively not doing much.

While I'd love us to snare another great wobble player, unfortunately for us, I don't think they have any to offer...

Personally, at the moment, I can't see where Tarrant would fit in...our forward line, when all fit is pretty good...I can't see Tarrant moving north to play in the Canberra league...

But hey, who knows what deals are being done...most unlikely I'd have thought...

                    Edit addition:

On second thoughts, I might be interested in Lonie...but that's all...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

If he came north it would almost certainly be to play CHB, and switch to CHF if we need Hall at FF (a la Leppitche).

I doubt we'd want him to badly though, and certainly not even as badly as Collingwood. Who would they replace him with? It would have to a Collingwood initiated trade, and they would have to have a superstar replacement in mind. HIGHLY unlikely.

Oh no not Lonie. He kicked 3 late goals on the end of handpasses, and can kick, but he heads the Woods "Chicken Squad" ahead of such scared luminaries as Woewodin, Didak, Shaw, Cole, Davis and O'Bree. As a matter of fact look through their list and it is looking old and "skinny" in quality.

                          Exactly right.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

but apparently he along with buckley are really crap to young players..

tarrent plays for himself and could be very disruptive to the team. It is vital in sydney players get along considering so many move from interstate

Well many said that about Big Bad too... now he is very much a part of the core leadership group. Is Tarrant really that bad? Or is Collingwood bad for Tarrant?
