    Fixter ... Schneider ... Bevan ... ?

The above players took us by surprise in their respective last 3 seasons .. who is your pick for the player to make an impact next year?

My pick is Sean Dempster ...

(other notable chances are Josh Thewlis, and Nick Malceski)

Schmidt, simply of build alone looks most likely for me. The other Davis also seems to be getting mentions in the best of late.

There seems to be a bit of a theme going on with these guys. All small guys. We really need a taller bloke to burst onto the scene.

I'd settle for Fixter & Schneider getting over their injuries and returning to their best form. And for Bevan not continuing the injury pattern.

Seriously, those 3 guys could be our starting, centre-bounce midfielders by this time next year, if all goes well.

Not necessarily, we need one of James, Dempster and LRT to have a massive preseason and command a spot in the lineup for round 1.

Next year, I'd go with Thewlis, maybe Dempster.

                        Yep.
There's really no standout this year.
Jarrad Rivers is the man named most likely, but if you look at their numbers, Rivers and Bevan are comparable. As a KPP, Rivers will probably take it though.

I'm being a little facetious as I haven't seen him play, but I understand he is a tall, slim, athletic type and we are hoping he can play CHB (been in the goals a litte, too for the reserves).

Bevo is not a dark horse, he is one of only four contenders (in order)

                          Aaron Davey
                          Jarred Rivers
                          Paul Bevan
                          Richard Hadley

I'd like to see Paul Bevan win it, I think he would be a deserving winner, but I agree I think Aaron Davey will take the prize - he has not only been good but he has developed a high profile and that's what will get him over the line.

                              Cheers Maureen
