Can we purchase tickets on the net via ticketek today Monday - as Swans members.?????????

Janpa, my understanding was via phone or in person ONLY and that you are required to give your membership number. Tomorrow you can purchase over the net, but as a member of the general public. Try the Swans web site (or the AFL one ?), I think that is where I read this..

So totally confused - because only one small paragraph in Tele not enough info.

Okay I'm going to get my tickets in 15 mins - if anyone wants me to buy any tickets for them let me know within the next 10 mins.

I can get 3 extra tickets.

It took me until 11:30 am to get on the phone queue. Premium tickets seem to be selling well, according to the Ticketek agent.

I stood in a queue on Elizabeth Street for over an hour this morning, but have my tickets! Was unable to even GET into the telephone queue for the hour before standing in the queue, or for the hour spent in the queue. VERY happy to have my tickets, but there's surely got to be an easier way!



(PS, at least they remembered to ask to actually SEE my membership card this year!)

I've heard that at least two outlets this morning they were *not* checking membership and plenty of non-members were buying. Can't believe they'd stuff it up twice and it's disappointing for members who may miss out.

I booked my tickets this morning over the phone and wasn't asked to supply my membership no.

It was also quite annoying that the operator had NFI on what seats were where in the stadium. Luckily I checked on the Stad Oz site beforehand.

I just picked up mine from Revesby Workers. Line up
wasn't too bad and I was in and out in half an hour.

At Chatswood this morning the woman was entering the membership numbers into the Ticketek computer. I bought 16 tickets, so she had to enter in numbers from all 4 different membership cards that i had on me.

Yep, in North Sydney the ladies in front of me were sent away to get their membership cards - ticket dude wouldn't let them ring someone up to check their membership numbers.

we got ours from Wynyard met centre and I was on my way work within 15 minutes. She checked our cards. I pre booked parking at 8.30 via the phone, so I'll give it a day or two to settle at the Elizabeth st office and I'll venture along to pick it up.

There wasn't any lineup when I got there <g>
