That many votes in the awards are based on number of disposals, as noted on a number of occasions this year...
Surely no one honestly thinks J Bolton is better than N Lappin or J Hird...?

For sure - I'd prefer Bolton to a lot of players in the competition, which I guess is hardly surprising given that there are over 500 players and I would put Bolton in the top 100, and there are a number, like Hird, who are far superior but have limited time left.

Just another thought on this - if we could have Hird just this finals series and not have Bolton all next year then I would take that swap. Adding a player like Hird to our side could be enough to give us a flag.
