      He deserved to be ahead of Jude at the very least, Kirk arguable, but Hall is our No.1 player.

            That many votes in the awards are based on number of disposals, as noted on a number of occasions this year...

            Surely no one honestly thinks J Bolton is better than N Lappin or J Hird...?

              Although surely you'd have to say you'd prefer Jude on your list next year than Hird, since Hird is likely to be gone by the end of 2005.

                For sure - I'd prefer Bolton to a lot of players in the competition, which I guess is hardly surprising given that there are over 500 players and I would put Bolton in the top 100, and there are a number, like Hird, who are far superior but have limited time left.

                        Just another thought on this - if we could have Hird just this finals series and not have Bolton all next year then I would take that swap. Adding a player like Hird to our side could be enough to give us a flag.
