No,because he would definately need a couple in the ressies to prove he right again.

In fact could he have possibly played his last game for the swans?

Its only a question, don't shoot me down

Now that is a better question. I can't see who he would rightly replace.

Going into such an important part of the year I don't think we can risk bringing him back into the side as he is not a good enough player to adapt quickly enough to finals football.

I don't think he is in our 'top 22' anyway.

In the list with McAsey, Considine, Werner, Cordner, Holmes, Kelly (only joking, bet that set hearts racing), Filandia and Windbanks.

Fossie is not a player worthy of the pick we got him for, and I think everyone is rating him against that, which is not entirely fair.

I think he should not be in the team should bring in Mcveigh for Buchanen imo.

I'm guessing it was purely an oversight on your part to leave Bomford out of that list...

Nah, Bomford is in the top 22 spastic, idiotic, moronic plebs list to ever play for the Swans...

There's a joke at the club about players having 'gold card' membership. ie this membership enables players to come straight back in to the top side without coming back through reserves (hence the flashing of the gold card !)
Fossie probably won't be as lucky this week. Not because the club doesn't hold him in high regard, which they do, but more due to lack of fitness and no-one to replace.

Fosdike is in the Swans top 20! he is well ahead of Buccanan and McVeigh who both have a long way to go to even be considered ahead of him.

Fosdike has great hands - pickup and handball has a better kick than Mathews or Jude Bolton and has the football smarts to go with it. Would only rate behind kirk and Bolton for being at the bottom of the packs.

Coming back from injury is another story and shouldnt play this weekend but he will come back after a week in the reserves and if we win.

Sorry to disagree with so many but then again I said weeks ago what a good season Doyle was having and get rid of Ben Mathews.......aaaahhhhh gotta luv footy!

Fosdike is a hack, f&*# stats, HE IS A DUD - end of story.

" Fosdike has great hands " - yeah, in the shower after games pulling his pud...

" and has the football smarts to go with it. " - HE HAS NO FOOTBALL SMARTS TO GO WITH IT, unless you count handballing 25 metres in the backline to Judd when the game is in the balance against the Eagles earlier this year.

Fosdike's problem is a massive lack of consistency. This is both during games and from game to game.

In a number of games earlier this year he was able to get a lot fo the ball, clear packs and deliver well to our players.

In a number of other games he fumbled badly, passed to the opposition, or mis-kicked.

After 100 games I would have thought his consistency would be better by now. We have a few players where we seem to give them a long time to prove themselves - after 100 games I would have thought they would be further along the development path.

As average as Fosdike is, I still think he's better than Mathews.

Who gives a rats toss bag about that blinking newsreader Tim Watson when it comes to crap footballers ( read: Nic Fosdike )running around in the team I have followed for 30 years plus.

What you don't understand is that at any given time there is 18 AFL footballers on the ground representing the SYdney Swans, who equate to 5.5% per footballer, and if one footballer is not good enough or smart enough to play TEAM football, then we are operating at 94.5% compared to the oppositions 100%.

Therefore, with Fosdike on the field for the Swans more often than not, we are starting 5.5% behind every other AFL team, which becomes annoying watching this crap after 30 odd previous years of NO PREMIERSHIP SUCCESS.

WE NEED 100% team football to win a flag, therefore Fosd@#*head is not required on the field for the Sydney Swans Football Club.
