    Monty

And I'd say that's about it unfortunately.

We got beaten all over the ground.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I thought Nicks went pretty well. And Ball and Doyle did a good job in the ruck. Hard to find too many others.

Yes, I think Buchanan was excellent tonight especially early on. Can't agree with Ball/Doyle though, it was Koschiztke in the ruck in the 3rd that really turned the game in their favour.

Thought McVeigh had a dip. Great for his future.

Hard night to judge, I am a bit upset.

Bevan and Buchanon tried hard. Jude had a good Q1 and bits and pieces. About it really. OUTPLAYED

Monty can be satisfied with his effort tonight. He has
              had a good year.

Funnily enough I'm not that upset because we were so convincingly beaten and didn't deserve to win. If it had been close or we'd been robbed I'd have been gutted. I'm more philosophical about it than anything (although I'm a little angry too).

                  Jude Bolton was outstanding.

Nicksy played well again and surely is not tradeable.

I am impressed at how Maxfield finished the season but to be honest I honestly think he only just scrapes into our best 22.

He may well be a phenomenal influence and inspiration around the football club, but in my opinion he can do that from within the glass enclosure to the left of the Brewongle Stand.

I would like to see Barry Hall appointed captain of this football club.

I'm more p*ssed off than upset. Same old Swans - make finals and get smashed!

                        Yeah very true Nick.

Another Swans final campaign finished as expected.

                        When will our curse end?

Tonight's game sums up why I think Bolton is a 'third midfielder.' Most people will say he had a good game (I didn't watch all the game, but that seems about right) yet he lacks the ability and explosiveness to be a matchwinner or even turn the tide. This is why I think we desperately need a couple of major top-flight midfielders, which will leave Bolton fitting in quite nicely as the blue-collar, third midfielder.

Williams and O'loughlan just cant seem to last a whole season. How many years now have those two got injured in finals or just before.

Exactly what we have been saying here tonight...if he was THAT superb, he may be broken the game wide open for us.

He needs a class midfielder working with him. He tries hard and that is great but he can't turn a match.
