Are we going to move the grand final?

If it's the Dees.....the only place that would benefit from having the GF played there would be Thredbo!
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I don't think that's true. ONE good midfielder isn't going to rip open a lost game. I think Jude had a terrific game, pity NO ONE else showed up to help.

But the point is that when a game is in the balance, say 2-3 goals the difference, a champion player can turn a game.

Kirk had a shocker, but he's just had a kid so probably hasnt slept a wink in the last week.
Barry Hall had a car prang. Even without injury that occupies your mental side.
We just werent in it. Bolton played well, thats all we can take from that game.

Geez, don't make excuses for them. We lost because St Kilda played better than us. They wanted it more than us. Simple.

You can't have been watching the same game I was. Kirk was the one player at the footy all night. Best player for mine.
Someone who needs to have a real hard look at himself is Schneider. I thought he was very weak at the footy, and when the ball came to him in a contest he went to ground almost everytime. Had a big look at the opposition player, then hit the deck. Looked very much like he did not like the hard stuff.
Thought Bolton J, tried hard without being brilliant . At least he got boot to ball.

There was one passage of play where the ball came towards Schneider and he tried to perform some fancy-ass knock on which of course didn't come off. Just take posession the ball and kick it!!
Yeah I thought Kirk was good too, always in there.
Schneider had a shocker. A lot of the time though there was no one there to help him or sheppard the two/three players surrounding him. Still no excuse, plenty of opportunities.

surely you jest. Yes he was in there, but effective? I dont think so.

Yeah, Last year he was the goal sneak with the deadly accuracy. The accuracy deserted him, and now he's in no mans land.
I'd give him a good preseason and go from there. I dont think he will ever be midfield quality.

Leo Barry
Andrew Schauble
Matthew Nicks (Kept going in hard all night)
Brett Kirk (Kept his man quiet, pity he didn't get much of the ball)
Jude Bolton (BOG and I would go as far as saying best game all season)
Paul Bevan
Jason Ball
Stephen Doyle
Barry Hall (No service all night, but kept on trying)
The Rest can at least think hard about their game, except for the injuried Mathews and Williams
