For the In and Under Type NWB, What do you think of playing Buchanan there full time next year? Everytime he's been put there he always seems to get a few clearences away.

Yeah, I like the concept of Buchanan playing there full time. He seems to have the ability to go in and get the ball out cleanly. Whether he has the fitness and ability to do it consistently for a whole game is the main issue.

I was thinking more along the lines of a strong, well-built utility. That isn't Goodes. We don't really have a body-on-body defender at all, and with the revival of strong forwards, that's a big weakness.

He seems to have the players respect and admiration, I'll be happy for him to keep going as I can't see anyone really suited to the role at present
Yeah, but he also needs the BALL a lot more often than he gets it. A captain needs to lead from the front, not get seven possessions in a quarter and then vanish when needed. It's hard to see a stand-out choice for captain, but I'd throw up Jude Bolton as a possibility.
