As to his goalkicking he got a career high 35 this year, yet Hawthorns troubled Nathan Thompson got 36.

If we want a KPP lets get one, if we want to try converting ruckmen perhaps we could try with our own (teach Adam Goodes how to kick for goal or work on Doyles marking)?

O'Loughlin kicked 38 goals this year and O'Keefe 33, but I havent heard anyone complain about their goal-kicking as yet.

And if we're going on the philosophy that our current players can be taught to kick more goals and take more marks, then why is Roos going for an elite midfielder and CHB? Lets teach Ablett to average 30 possessions per game, and teach Craig Bolton to play CHB like Leppitsch does.

By the way, teaching Goodes how to kick for goal has not worked in 2004 and it doesnt look like working any time soon.

Goodes kicked 40 goals in 2000, and 34 in 2001 (and 6 goals from CHF in the U18 Grand Final).

He doesn't need anyone to teach him how to kick goals.

But he could do with a shot of confidence to have a go at goal instead of always looking to pass. He never used to worry about having a shot at goal, now he seems to have second, third and fourth thoughts before he lines up.

Did he win a Brownlow in 2000? what about 2001?

From what we've seen this year, he needs a bit of help if he wants to become a permanent forward. He won a Brownlow playing in the midfield, so lets get him back in there and let Bazza worry about set shots at goal.
