If it is not "very obvious" that Roos was not impressed with Davis attitude regarding his injuries , why do the Swans appear to be so keen to trade Davis? On his best form he is clearly in our best 22 players and adds a lot to the forward line with his skill and kicking power. If he really got into shape I think that he could become an excellent mid fielder. Sure I am basing my judgment on what I read in the newspapers mid season but if you are privy to other information then why don't you advise us all.

Roos said this morning on SEN that the Fosdike, Davis, Saddington deal for pick 6 from Bullies was not even thought of by the club.

Rumour of Saddo back to his home town was not what he was telling the club.

      Virtually said it was crap.

Spot on Nico. Roos denied it all. He also said they were sitting back waiting to see what was going to happen, in regard to Ottens.

I only read what I see in the papers. I just can't believe we would offer 3 regular senior players for pick #6. I doubt we are shopping Davis around. Wouldn't make any sense as Davis will not play anywhere else.

I spoke to Nick earlier and he isn't going anywhere. Also he's lost a couple of kilos and he's looking great and definitely on his way to losing more. He's injury free and happy to train as soon as pre-season starts again.

Nick Davis is not going anywhere and I would think he is 99% sure to pull on the boots again for the Swannies next year.
His family (dad in particular) will pull his head into line.

It all reminds me of the Chris Tarrent saga a few years back where he said, 'I've had enough of footy' and actually left the Pies for some time before agreeing to come back and now look at the player he is.

He and Nick should get together and realise how damn lucky they are to be gifted footballers, getting paid a mint and playing in the best sporting comp in the world...fair dinkum I'd swap places with him this second (I do love my job though) but what a dream to play AFL footy for the Swans!

Pull your head in Nick, work hard and you will be one of the AFLs best players...DON'T WASTE IT!

I think the club is trying to send Davis a message. It does no good for the club's intent if we offer him a safe heaven for his mind.

He is tradeable like the rest of them.

The club isnt that f'en stupid to trade Davis. For f's sake he is the most talent at the club. Half fit and head not rite and he still in the top 22 and kicks goals. If the club trades him they are f wits no dout about it. He will kcik 55 goals next year mark my words.

Even if they tried to trade him he wouldn't go. He would rather quit the AFL and change codes as my friend InTheKnow said earlier. But to clear it up for all of you he isn't going anywhere. I just spoke to him again and he said there's no chance.

i doubt he'd be bait for anyone, but he doesn't get any say in it. if the swans were so annoyed with him that they'd offer him up, he might not even be informed until it happened.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Then he could retire from AFL - which is what Know2 is saying.

Quit is exactly what he'd do and he would be snapped up by some league team. He's been made plenty of offers already.

But what's the point of all that talent with no commitment? Davis can be sublime but has really only been a disapointment since he came back. Remember the hype?

He had a bad patch and that was due to his injury woes. He like all athletes hate not being able to do what they do best and therefore went off track for a while. He's happy to be injury free and is taking care of him self a lot more. He's even losing some of the weight that he managed to put on while he wasn't training and is continuing to lose more like I said earlier.
