Fosdike and Doyle for Pick 8

Just heard on SEN radio, that we have offered Fosdike and Doyle to the crows for pick 8. Nothing confirmed though.

Surely you wouldn't offer up Doyle unless a deal has been agreed to in principle for Ottens or Jolly?

          That would make sense.

I don't think we would give up Doyle unless we got both Ottens AND Jolly (which is quite possible).

It is probably not a bad deal all round although one scribe has noted top 5 picks excellent, then a flattish draft and a quick drop in quality. There are 4 or 5 highly rated talls too.

When you consider there are three highly rated father sons, then top 5 are suddenly top 8. So 8 is a good pick supposedly.

But of course 8 could be offered to Richmond for Ottens!!!!

Not that I'm a big wrap for Doyle, but aren't we then still in a position of being short a ruckman within 2 years?

Or maybe the coaching staff view Doyle as not being good enough to carry the load (not that surprising) and believe that someone else can become a backup over the next year or so.

Luckily Doyle showed some quality at the right time of year to provide himself as a trade bait possibility.
We have secured Ottens if this is true.

Surely we should get a little more? Even a 4th round pick (Crows have pick 56) would be better than being stuck with more picks in the 80s.

That's a bit desperate on our part. So in effect Fosdike, Doyle, pick 8 and pick 15 for Ottens.

BTW where's this gun midfielder we were supposed to be prioritising ?
