Warfe is a good player, has been a good player and could still be a good player. However at the moment he is lacking something, be it fitness, skills, or whatever. I think its something to do with his injuries. For the last 2 and half seasons he HAS hardly played any football of note. It takes time to get back to your pervious level.

I don't think Warfe should be in the side so he can provide experience, nor should he be in the side as a marking defender. The problem is with his fitness levels he can't play as a running defender. I think once Ben Fixter is fit again I think Warfe should be dropped and taken back to the 2nds to gain match fitness and his touch back as a running defender.

If I was the coach (which I'm not) I would of dropped him this week and played Powell or even LRT (pending fitness). There is nothing wrong with Rowan that can't be solved with a bit of time in the 2nds but before then we shouldn't really expect too much from him.
    Once was, now elsewhere

Actually, if you look at how we get our percentage the backline has more than held up their end this year INCLUDED!

Blame the flood, blame Dunks for holding up the backline, blame whatever you want..

But most teams hold players accountable for their man who goes forward (hence a "flood")....

You win by scoring MORE than the opposition try looking at the middle of the ground because we have plenty of guys that can kick goals just get the ball there without turning it over on the 50!

I thought it was more that McLeod anticipated and intercepted it. I couldn't really tell from the angle of the camera shot though.

At the time I thought it was just bad luck.

But then they replayed it from a different angle . . . and the pass went straight to McLeod!!!

i actually called it really early, i had a adelaide supporting mate with me and i saw warfe near the ball and quickly said, "dont give it to warfe, warfe's crap!" and then boom, he proved me correct and my head almost popped off my shoulders! his brain explosion was directly proportionate to mine!!!
